PENGARUH TEKNIK PEMBERIAN KOMPRES TERHADAP PERUBAHAN SKALA NYERI PADA KLIEN KONTUSIO di RSUD SLEMAN
Abstract
Compress is a nurse independent act that done by warm or cold at an local area. The purpose of compress are decrese or lose of pain. Contusio is a trauma that often happened at common. First sign of contusion is pain. The purpose of this experience is knowing influence compress to pain scale at contusio klien.
The kind of experience is a experience researchment, with quasi eksperiment desain, pre post test control group. Sampling technik is purposive sampling. Sample in this eksperiment is 27 respondens, are 13 respondens for warm compres and 14 for cold compres. Eksperiment result by Mann- Whitney, with believed ….a = 95% or 0,005 for eksperiment hipotesis test is there are significant influence between warm compress and cold compress with pain scale at contusion klient. After statistic analise Z result more than 0,05 mean that Ho is accepted and Ha is denied. The conclution is both warm compress and cold compress are effectifed to decrese pain scale at contusion pain.
